With 21 years of experience in Nursing, of which 6 years out of it as a Nurse Practitioner Hundreds of hours of continuing education. My passion is to care for those patients with either an acute or chronic mental illness or substance diagnosis. Whether you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mental health disorder, need medication management, or have relapsed from an addictive disorder, I am here to help you. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Certification in Medications for Addiction Treatment and Substance Use disorders. I have also obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Experience and education have prepared me to provide care in a holistic, compassionate, and professional manner that is also culturally sensitive, empathetic and professional.

I have been a registered nurse for 40 years. Mental health nursing has been my specialty for most of my career. I have been a Nurse Manager, Director of Quality and Infection Control, and Orientation nurse, and have been certified in case management. I have experience working for a major insurance provider and with insurance providers to help obtain the services they need. I have worked in both the public and private sectors in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.
